Satellite Overview of China's Crude Oil Inventory Change in July

We moseyed around China with Planet Labs’ satellites to have a look at July’s change in crude oil storage at some of the top tank farms in terms of capacity. Here’s a snap summary of the storage change we see.

Dalian: ~100 million barrel capacity. We see a draw/decrease in inventory.

Aoshan Oil Terminal: ~73 million barrel capacity. We see a build/increase in inventory.

Ningbo: ~62 million barrel capacity. We see a draw/decrease in inventory.

Qingdao: ~51 million barrel capacity. We see a draw/decrease in inventory.
